I kinda like studying. Used to love it, lost it when I stepped into VJ, and regained it a little too late for my own good.

A levels is almost over and it's nearly confirmed I will look back in time and hate myself for not working hard enough. But whatever, at least I tried....everyday studying in school from 9am to 11pm and barely even leaving the range. Meals all done inside, definitely felt like a prisoner of education. But it was quite fun singing to the music and talking to my dearest angei. Hehehe.

Was supposed to work immensely hard for the 2 papers but it seems like my distracted mind and holiday mood are not cooperating with me at the moment(: ohwell tmr is the hard core day but I'm sure it'll still be fun! Jing is bringing her lappie and we're gonna start on our drama! only after 6 mcq papers... Hope it's possible!

Love such mindless ranting on my blog in the middle of the night. I can never get enough of blogging and I'll promise to revamp you after As! SOON xoxo.

Thank god my planned emo post turned out to be a happy one! Wheee~ life is such, full of unexpected twists and turns. Just like how I always thought I was smart and how I don't need to mug that hard and look where that has gotten me. PSLE results is out tmr and how I wish As results can be as unexpectedly good as my psle! I got 263 okay and I didn't even study that hard. Talk about unreliable and skewed psle scores which doesn't reflect on our true abilities. All my super smart friends now didn't have very outstanding psle results! (Okay except a handful) I don't have super high hopes for my As but I'm still very stress because all my WHOLE family believes I'm a straight A student.

Lol. Even my toes are laughing.

Haha I'm off to dreamland goodnight I'll update this space again although no one reads it(;

Idk how many times I have told myself to not start a conversation with you and not share stories with you. Just be cold. But I just never remember to follow what I set out to do/.

Total opposites

Sometimes all you want is to be total opposite from someone.

You scream and shout at every being that comes in your way; I aim to handle every situation calmly and logically--with my head, not heart.

You over-care the people you love and expect too much out of them in return; I want to just love my own life and not care too much, so there is no need for any reciprocation.

You are too concerned about respect, scared of offending the powerful yet you trample all over on the powerless; I attempt to treat all equally and justifiably.

You are blind to your other half who have been tolerating you and genuinely concerned about you and continue to nitpick, I aim to have faith and keep my future relationship healthy and put in effort to maintain it.

....or maybe, not even have one for fear I'll end up like you.

So what should you do to not end up like a person? I'm afraid everything will backfire against me and the more I resist the more I will end up like you. God no I don't want to. This love-hate relationship is too deep I just want to chop off my hand that is so tightly linked to yours.

But my lack of courage, the limiting factor...

Need to be super determined to not end up like you. I want to be a total opposite from you but the similarities we already hold is freaking me out.

(Sometimes, when all you wish for is a good role model.)

Oh god, I wonder how many papers I'm going to flunk this time.

Math paper totally broke my heart): Econs was also disappointing. Didn't study hard for the other 2 paper so I won't be surprise if I do badly lol.

Meanwhile, I'm totally enjoying life at Copthorne Hotel which my mum booked especially for me to chill and shop, except that they don't have free wifi over here FML (which is why I'm blogging right now instead of catching up with my dramas and doing some online widow shopping...)

[Anyway, I learned in Econs lessons that during recessions, hotels will come up with Staycations promotions to encourage locals to stay in hotels to reduce their loss. Cool, didn’t know there’s something called ‘staycations’.]

Walked over to Great world city after check-in and had lunch and dinner there before coming back. Zara is having a sale now so I got a colorful shirt which I'm preparing to wear tomorrow because I did not pack any clothes to wear except pajamas haha. Oh and I got a cheap mustard skirt from Zara too. I was torn between the mustard and teal and mum told me to just get both lol! But I didn't la....totally not my style to get 2 colours of the same design.

Tempted to get something from topshop. Was torn btw this sheer floral dress and a jeans pinafore(idk how to spell) dress. Mum liked this, I preferred that, sis liked this.... 2 : 1. I lost. So I got this in the end. Funny how it's MY dress hahaha.

I like it, just that my wardrobe has more florals than botanical garden has, a blue pinafore would be nice..... OHWELL. next time maybe...?

If you've noticed, I'm out of twitter, and I seem like I have a strong willpower because I'm telling you I've not accessed twitter ever since I tweeted that I was on 'hiatus'.

Truth is, I couldn't resist temptation and tried loading twitter.com on the browser since I've already deleted the app. BUT SOMEHOW THE PAGE JUST NEVER LOADS ON MY IPOD AND EVEN COM!!!!

Anw I'm here to rant since twitter is failing me. There's always blogging to fall back on right? (awwww, I love you ma'blog...)

Today was kinda a weird day. Loads of happenings I must say.

Woke up early in the morning at 10 and rushed to tuition. Travelled all the back to school to pass a friend some bio notes and was tasked to do something funny for him which involves treating someone some starbucks. Completed 3 e-assessment with sherri and estee at starbucks and then went to putien for dinner. Went home only to realize family is out and I didn't have my keys. Travelled all the way to grands to ask for my home keys only to find out that everyone is out and the maid herself is locked out and can't retrieve the keys from the living room. Travelled to sherri's house but was unsure of her unit phone died on me. So I was once again thrown into this situation where I want to slap myself for not remembering to bring something as simple as house keys.

Suppose to study but instead we watched teevee and played with makeup and talked alot more as if our starbucks time wasted wasn't enough.

Today was exciting, hello tomorrow.

Reality check

I got an A. But I'm not very proud of my A since having an A doesn't mean I'll have a higher chance of doing well in any of my other A level subjects. It doesn't prove that I have a better understanding in that subject or better ability than anyone else who got a B. Definitely not.

But I'm certainly thankful that my hardwork is rewarded. Well, pw is certainly one of the subject that tells people hardwork & effort is not equivalent to a good grade.

I guess I just need to be thankful, and not be complacent just because lady luck is on my side just this once. PW is just an appetizer. The main obstacle, the real one that we really need to ensure success even without the help of luck, is coming in like 150 days WTF.

Really scared because unlike pw, you can't afford to screw this up.

P.s. Estee and I just wrote an email to express our gratitude to the psychologist that accepted our interview and even offered to help us proofread our WR! He definitely contributed to our A! (even though we didn't let him proof read la)

P.p.s. it is really good idea to celebrate the end of PW, and also PW results celebration BEFORE the results.

P.p.p.s. My group members really rocks, cliche and repetitive as this sounds.

Self-preservation mechanism

"It's normal to hate your ex right after a breakup".

I ever read something like this before, saying that such hate towards your ex develops naturally as it is your own method for self preservation (whether or not you are the one who initiated the breakup or not.)

I think it's very true.

I have been secretly hating you and myself for the past few months (for reasons I couldn't fathom). The closest explanation I could get to was because of all the regret I thought you had caused me to feel.

So...the fact that I no longer hate you, what does that signal? I no longer remember the bad things that happened between us. Don't even remember the "reason". All I can remember are the nice and happy things! Why?!?! Could it mean that I have OFFICIALLY moved on? Since hate is your body's own self-preservation mechanism, not hating you would mean I have completely forgotten about you. (which I all along thought I already did a thousand years ago...but it is possible that I have been deluding myself all these while..) Haha!

On the other hand, I realized a large part of my relationships are in a state of love-hate-ness. One moment I'm get turned off by your actions/thoughts. The next moment I love you for your other good qualities. One good example is my mum. I love her soooooooo much! But when she pisses me off I get real mad and hate her secretly in my heart (for a really short while).

The question that have been stuck in my head recently is "AM I NORMAL?" Does everyone experience such love-hate relationships for more than 50% of all their human relationships? Or am I the abnormal anal girl who gets pissed off so easily that I hate people unreasonably?

Well, one thing is for sure, I am starting to try to conform to the majority. I'm slightly tired of always being 'special'! ):

Hi guys. Today we're all celebrating the last day of T2W1 full-day woohoo!!! And we've gotten back our chem, math and bio results so far. Well I guess I've been shocked by my results so much so that I have already started mugging. Lol. Gonna do my tutorials religiously from today.

That is why I'll be blogging less frequently from now on, sigh. But whenever I get these 'pockets of free time' I promise I will blog a quick one okay? Not gonna leave my blog dead, ewww.

I'm on my way home from orchard now it's 8.45 pm and I hadn't had my dinner! D: My stomach is growling so loudly strangers are giving me weird stares I AM NOT ANOREXIC I AM JUST LATE FOR DINNER OKAY?!?!

Today have been pretty fun actually. Woke up earlier to do a lil work before I headed out to celebrate junrong's bday with random pockets of people. I knew I was going to feel out of place but since it's tradition to celebrate our OG mate's bday and pp is so near PLUS I MISS my dear girl EUNICE. Had so much fun catching up with that girl and talking about evilbadboys.

Gosh sucks to blog/read without pictures yeah? I didn't bring my camera so we'll just have to wait for Cheryl to upload them on fb!

Later asked some girls along to editor's market to meet w the ip girls and I bought a pair of short which obviously was an impulse buy. Some of them really had a good haul. Well as for me, not so much of a fan for that place.

Bidded goodbye to the ipgirls and went for a yogurt treat and more shopping with Eunice, Shereen and Shiyao at knight's bridge 2 levels of TOPSHOP and then went to 4 levels of F21 @ 313.

I FEEL SO TIRED AND SHAGGED but am definitely a happygurl_93!!!

Probably the last hardcore shopping until A levels are over. Not very far away only 200 days left!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHA I KNOW RIGHT THIS POST IS SO LAG. But I have nothing much to blog about now so my taiwan trip and the photos can be used as filler posts. Hurray to more pictures.

Day four was Christmas eve. I have already planned to wear the red trenchcoat on Christmas day eversince I bought it 2 years ago, and it was awesome how I was spending it in winter or else I’m gonna sweat to death in this in the hot Singapore weather!

It was already really cold by day 4. According to the news, Hanliu will be coming the next day or something. The trenchcoat was not meant to be a winter wear so I remembered how I was freezing over there, fml.

Travelling by MRT again.

I know how the boots make my feet look huge and inproportionate but authentic uggs are WARM AND SUPER COMFY.

Coping with CT1s

This is really bad. No matter how screwed I have ever felt for exams, I still think it cannot be compared to the state I'm in now. Barely completed anything tonight (like every other nights) yet I still don't even feel any sense of urgency. I thought things would be better as I'm nearing exams but it's like 6 days left and I still cannot kick the procrastinator out of my body. Probably I'm too lagging behind that I find it useless to start, or that I just don't know where to start from anymore.

Funny how I'm speaking as if I am no control over my own body. But I think that is true, I have low self-control, little perseverance, and throw in a (large) dash of laziness, what you get is a classic procrastinator like me.

I hope tomorrow will be better):

I'm not scared of failing myself, not afraid of failing my parents, or the teachers. What I mind is wasting all the money I have spent on tuitions. (a lot of money leh heartpain...)
They are good, just that I'm not good enough.

Valentine’s

Yesterday was valentine’s day and I suddenly had the inspiration to blog but really didn’t have the time. The life of a J2 really sucks.

Valentine’s day is awesome, if not for the fact that all restaurants will be fully booked, town will be extra crowded, and you will have a higher chance of spotting random couples on the streets snogging away.

I always cared about valentine’s day, because it means that I have the chance of preparing presents for my friends and write nice letters to them! But this year, I did not because I just couldn’t be bothered and my weekends were too busy to even think about it. Sorry friends): I really didn’t expect anybody to prepare so much gifts!

Guilt really set in when I received my first rose of the day and I was like “OH MY I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT PRESENTS.” and then I received my second very touching gift, and then the third, fourth, fifth…… Even the hugs from friends in other classes and also everyone replacing their “Hi!” with “HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!” makes me so filled with love (BUT GUILTY.)

Amidst all the homework stress and whatnot there were all these joy and love in the air. PLUS THE MUSIC. Ms Tee played music in the LT before lecture started and when I went in it really felt like a party going on with all the balloons, flowers and laughter everywhere. Valentine’s day was unexpectedly fun. <3

Nevertheless, there was much bitterness going round on this day: Not enough presents, no lover, no secret admirer, etc….. I don’t really get these people. People who cannot stand being alone (if you don’t mind not being in a bgr then I’m not talking about you). Seriously?! WHY SO DESPERATE? If you cannot be happy being alone, its difficult to find someone who will be happy when he/she’s with you.

Side note: The person who invented “Friendship day” must be unattached. Hahahaha. Face it, IT. IS. VALENTINE’S. DAY. Valentine’s Day is indeed a day for couples, but there is nothing wrong taking the chance to show the love to your friends too. So why must rename it “Friendship day?!”
And there’s another thing…..as much as valentine’s day is commercialised and random, if you don’t take the chance to spend time with your loved one today and show your love, then when?!

Ahh, this is the last year of receiving so much love from so much friends on valentines. SAD D: Now I can only look forward to April Fools’!!!

So since I’m on the topic of love and relationships, I’ll just do a random post on what I (ideally) look for in a guy.

(Though I’m quite sure the guy I will like in the future won’t fufil all these criteria because LOVE IS BLIND. HAHAHA. And maybe I can show him this list in the future and say “See! You don’t fit my criteria but I still love you, you must be thankful mwahahaha.” Okay I’m just kidding, really.)

Rabbits often come with a good connotation (for example when someone says “you look like a rabbit!” most of the time it means something good, unless he’s referring to your buck teeth fyl). Rabbits look so cute in cartoons but in actual fact, they are not cute at all! I have never seen a rabbit in real life and felt that it is pleasing to the eye. Super disgusting animal. ESPECIALLY THE HUGE RABBITS. I saw parkway having a rabbit showcase once, 3 rabbits were on a table it was freaking disgusting I swear. Even my sister who love animals felt that it was gross and decided to take some photos with her camera to show her friends.

I ever played with my friends’ rabbits so I know I really dislike these creatures.

I’m really dreading life at the moment. I mean school every single day? I wonder what I ate to make me love studying so much 4 years ago. Maybe I should teleport to the past and ask the old-me brainwash me to love studying again. (probably because I could do it well in the past, but not anymore D:)

I can only live life once:

One part of me is asking myself to just study hard, get good results and get into a good uni course and then earn big bucks and live a good life.

The other part of me is saying that I’m only young once, play, play, play as much as I can.

Oh my holy, my chinese new year is going to be spent in pink and florals and lace!

I still cannot stand that my CNY clothes all turn out to be so so so pink and girly. But that’s what elders like to see right?

Leaving early tmr morning! I can’t wait for this whole entire ordeal to be over. Honestly other than my dad, the rest of my family isn’t looking forward to CNY at all.

CNY is the time where you finally meet relatives you haven’t met since forever, and get asked questions like “when are you going to get married?”, “when are you going to have your first child?”, “when are you going to get your next child?”, “do you have a girlfriend/boyfriend?”, “What school is your child in?”. Its time where people compare with you, stress you, gossip about you. Hahaha. (This is just a horrible scenario I’m painting its not usually how i spent my CNY!)

Gahh. Thank god malaysia is somewhat peaceful. I don’t mind going malaysia to spend my CNY, just that i really want to go to my friend’s house to BAI NIAN at least once in my life.

Day 3 in bubbletealand!

Third day in Taiwan it was not that cold yet. About 15 degrees!

And that day, I woke up and was very happy because…….

…I WOKE UP WITH WAVY HAIR WITHOUT NEEDING TO DO ANYTHING TO IT!!!!

(If you noticed I was taking the pics halfway brushing my teeth lol, mum thought I was crazy.)

We were travelling to JIU FEN where there is a traditional food street there. SO Basically the third day was ALL ABOUT FOOD! (Not a fan of this day though, but it was a great day nonetheless but kind of tiring!)

I was wearing this dress I bought from some roadside stall the previous night for a really cheap price. Winter = must wear nordic prints!

Finally some food time!!!

At night we went to the World famous WU FEN PU that got me so freaking excited. It was the highlight of my whole ENTIRE ENTIRE ENTIRE Taiwan trip….but ended up terribly disappointed.

Wu Fen Pu is a wholesale(?) Night market that sells super nice and cheap clothes. Even though I saw really nice stuff in other night markets on the first few days, I kept telling myself not to buy, because “WU FEN PU should be nicer and cheaper.”

BUT NO!

Heaven must always play with my feelings like this.

Wu Fen Pu was not really any cheaper and I couldn’t find anything I like there. Probably because they only had winter clothes.. ): BOOHOOHOO. The only thing I bought there was a Cape coat that I wore on the fifth day for a quite expensive price. But I was desperately looking for a cape coat to wear! So…. Ohwells, its still really cheap if you convert into Sing dollars anyway. $36 for a coat is really cheap isn’t it?

After that we went to Rao He jie. GOSH I SWEAR I WAS BLOODY WORN OUT FROM ALL THE WALKING BY NOW. Hahaha.

But bubbly tea kept me going!

After that was HOTEL SWEET HOTEL! <3 <3

qing’s/tong’s birthday celebration!

Yersterday, these two girls just had their 18th birthday!

Its super cool to have your birthday on the same day as your best friend. You’ll feel like twins and HOW I WISHED I HAD A TWIN. Provided my twin is a nice girl and that we understand each other. Hahaha. Then again, what’s bad about having a twin is the endless comparisons people around you will make, which is inevitable ~~(JUST PRAY THAT YOU ARE THE CLEVERER/PRETTIER TWIN)~~ ok just kidding.

Tong and Qing have known each other for God knows how many years, I think since primary school days. They go for the same ballet class and live a few blocks away from each other. Now in the same JC and CCA. If this is not affinity/destiny then I don’t know what its called. Anyway, my point is that the connection and bond they share with each other is super cool hehehe^^ I wish I had a ‘twin’ like this.

After our tuition last Sunday, we went to celebrate their birthdays with Jordana Christal Natalie and Bernice in town. Christal suggested watching BURLESQUE since tongz and qingz are dancers and they should appreciate the movie.

ANYWAY THE MOVIE IS AWESOME even though I’m not a dance kind of person.

I didn’t know Christina Aguilera looked like that (in a good way). I didn’t know she looked so young and pretty. The plot of the movie is really simple, but Christina Aguilera’s voice is so powerful and the dance choreographs in the movie are just plain amazing. Kristen bell also acted as the antagonist of the movie and she looked really evil with her black hair, but I still love her! Nice show :D YOU SHOULD WATCH IT IF YOU HAVEN’T.

After the movie, we went for Dinner at Marche, which was surprisingly pretty good. The last time I went there was with Qing, Ber, Dom, Nat, Chenee, and Bryan to celebrate Bernice’s birthday. That was in IP1. (omg i feel so old now I can’t believe 2.5 years have passed and I’m J2 now) The last time I was there I had rosti whiched sucked for me since I’m not a potato-lover. This time i bought some meat and it was delicious except that the half chicken I ordered came without the drumstick. (CHEAT MY FEELINGS AND MONEY) D:

The queue outside Marche was pretty long and after staying hungry for a while, we finally entered the cozy and beautifully-decorated restaurant which had the sign (“NO PHOTOGRAPHY IN RESTAURANT”) to our dismay.

So pardon me if this post has mostly words….

OKAY I AM KIDDING. We didn’t really care and took pictures like mad anyway. I don’t see why they should ban photographs in their pretty restaurant. Allowing photography would attract more people in, wouldn’t it?

It is so damn easy to make me happy everyday. I just need someone smiling at me, stranger or not, the feeling of warmth just rushes through me. Really.

And I realised its better to smile with teeth, other than gaining weight, another resolution of mine is to smile with teeth more this year.

So please. SMILE WHEN YOU SEE ME. If I don’t smile back its because I’m slightly blind without my specs.

I’m not that antisocial.

Bubble tea land day 2

I know this is super laggy, but here is Taiwan day 2!

This is us early in the morning taking a subway to our destination!

On the second day, we actually went to taipei’s biggest amusement park: LIU FU CHUN (direct translation: Sixth Lucky Village) I didn’t even know where we were going until we actually reached the huge gate.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE AMUSEMENT PARKS THEY NEVER FAIL TO MAKE ME SUPER EXCITED! <3

(To my future husband, please propose to me in a theme park preferably Disneyland. NO posh restaurants, rooftops, or worst of all on the Singapore flyer. If you are poor Singapore’s Universal Studios also can i don’t mind.)

One of the reasons why amusement parks are awesome is because they bother to make it so colourful!

AND I LOVE COLOURS!

And there was this super scary and attention-attracting ride (that’s why they are called attractions) that everyone was very interested in when we first stepped into the amusement park.

Its like a rollercoaster going round and round this circular track. And it goes backwards too. Quite cool huh.

AND GUESS WHAT IT WAS THE FIRST RIDE WE TOOK! I love upsidedown rides but really, I’m actually terribly scared just that I have to fufil my motto in life that is to take a chance and try everything (new).

Another ride that I will not forget is this flume ride we (the kids) all took. Bloody hell thinking about it makes me feel cheated:

This ride was unlike the normal Flume rides (aka boats that plunge vertically downwards) I have taken in other amusement parks. THIS ONE HAS NO FORM OF PROTECTION AT ALL OMFG!!!! Not even a seat belt and no proper handles. There is a long rod at the side though (I ASSUME ITS THE HANDLE BAR) but i swear its damn wet and slippery.

As if we weren’t scared enough, before you plunge downwards, there is a radio that repeats in a robotic voice (in chinese) “PLEASE LEAN BACKWARDS AND DON’T LOOK DOWN, PLEASE LEAN BACKWARDS AND DON’T LOOK DOWN.” I kept repeating wtf wtf when i heard that. I thought I was going to die because it sounded as if it was really dangerous that if you lean forward or look downwards you might just fall out of the boat. AND IT WAS DAMN DANGEROUS OKAY I SWEAR.

BEST PART WAS: There were 2 plunges. And the second was way steeper.

This is the time where they will keep spamming the phrase “PLEASE LEAN BACKWARDS AND DON’T LOOK DOWN! PLEASE LEAN BACKWARDS AND DON’T LOOK DOWN!”

(Secretly I was thinking if mummy will choose a nice picture of me for my funeral but I know that she will not because her definition of prettiness is different from mine. She always tell me a certain ugly picture of me looks damn pretty-.- HAHAHHA)

I have been Windows blog-shopping (pun intended, haha) since I was 15. That was the time when only a handful of blogshops existed. Today, blogshops are sprouting like tumours because of their popularity amongst Singaporean teenagers and young adults.

Although I have seen many dresses that was once tempting, I only made my first official purchase last year. Kinda fail huh, because I finally found a friend that happen to be able to transfer money for me via atm/ibanking (which I still don’t know how it works-.-)

This is the first item I bought and I’m still wearing it quite often because I am. totally. in. love. with. rompers. TOO COMFY TO RESIST.

Recently I bought 2 dresses for Chinese New Year and I really like them so I’m technically excited for CNY but actually I’m just excited to wear the new dresses during CNY! Isn’t that what CNY is for? To give us more excuses to buy more clothes? I bet Qing will agree to this.

I’ll be most probably be wearing this on the first day because its more casual and looks more comfortable.

I bought this in a backorder despite confirming orders within 5 minutes after the collection was launch. For starters, backorders normally happens only when they are out of stock, where some blogshops may decide to start collecting more orders and get more stock for these people. So imagine how many people already staring at the screen for the collection to appear and immediately placing orders once its launched. (Its something like mousehunt where you stare and wait for the horn to appear after 15 minutes.) 5 minutes and its out of stock?! Blogshops really are earning bigbucks nowadays, provided you self-manufacture or import unique pieces from overseas.

Second item that just arrived was also from a backorder, but i got it from Sgflea. (Guys shouldn’t read this post at all, just like how girls shouldn’t listen when guys are talking about their L4D2, Assasin’s Creed, Dota, etc. with all their weird terminologies involved.)

Thank god its true to its colour. Might be saving this for Ren ri dinner or something since its so proper and dinner-ish.

Now here are 10 reasons why you should blogshop:

1. Convenient-Good for super lazy people like me who wants to constantly shop but have no time or no energy to walk around in shopping malls.

2. Cheap-Blogshop clothes are generally cheaper than those you see in the malls since the sellers save on rental and cost of production is lowered and tahdah you get lower sale price.

3. Can bargain (In some cases)-Especially when you buy from Sgflea, you can actually bargain for an even better price but this really depends on your bargaining skills. Consult me if you require help. HAHA.

4. Imitations-Owners often copy designs of clothes that we see in malls, like Zara, Topshop, F21, ASOS, and even Marc Jacobs. So you can finally get your dream dress at a fraction of its cost. (But don’t expect similar quality as the original.)

5. Quantity-Since you’re buying your clothes at a cheaper price, you can now afford more clothes, HURRAY!

6. Surprise factor-Love the adrenaline rush you get whenever you finally receive a parcel and can’t wait to tear the envelope apart (and also realising that the dress is exactly how you dreamed of it to be, except that its nicer!)

7. More unique- Only applies if you buy from the less popular blogshops and if its self-manufactured or something. Nowadays everyone can identify a Lovebonito or Hervelvetvase dress easily.

8. Easy to get opinions-If you are someone who don’t trust your own taste or need assurance when buying clothes, you can easily send the picture or the URL to a few friends on MSN and instantly get their feedback! SO. CONVENIENT.

9. Pretty girls-Sometimes I visit blogshop not for their clothes, but for the girls, ‘nuff said.

10. Mailing List-Unlike shopping malls, you can sign up for blogshop mailing lists and get informed on when they will be updating a new collection. This saves you so much time! Imagine if only Zara and Topshop will inform me the exact time and date they will have new stocks, I will no longer need to walk into those stores only to realise that the clothes haven’t change one bit!

oh, its grandpa’s bday!

[A random post because I have nothing blog nowadays.]

My maternal grandpa is a very stern person whom i am still, to date, quite afraid of. He’s not very close to me, nevertheless, one of the person i respect most because I am very impressed by his ability to earn so much money in such a short time, where he brought the family from rags to riches. My mum told me how the family of 7 squeezed in ONE tiny room in the past. (you know the old shophouses in joo chait kind? yeah one room in that small house.)

He came from China and worked as a mere provision shop helper initially. Slowly, he climbed his way all to the top, and opened a construction company, just in time for the economy boom of Singapore. Quite cool huh. All thanks to him, his children are living a fairly good life now.

HE IS EIGHTY YEARS OLD NOW. OMGEE. I didn’t even know until my mum told me, he didn’t look like it. I think he is living a heathly life now—taking morning walks to stay fit, playing chess to keep the mind active. AH GONG I HOPE YOU’LL LIVE A LONG LIFE! <3

I’ll sidetrack a little: Before the usual dinner celebration, I met up with BerQing oh I miss them so much! barely seen these girls because of travelling, so we met up one week before school reopened. (I know right, this post is so outdated-.-)

We ate Ajisen (my favourite) and talked and exhanged those stories that we missed out. And took polaroids hehehe <3

We took turns to be in the middle so that we can keep the polaroid with the one with our own faces in the middle!

Ah qing and I took one more and it was not centralised, my bad. But i like this polaroid colour!

Back to the dinner. We went to Ah Yat Bao Yu to eat, yay, my favourite restaurant out of all those that they frequent.

Keep to the resolutions

It was a good first week of school, where the tone was set well--preptalks at the beginning of every lecture, teachers telling us to work hard and not slack off, and of course goal setting in civics. And I like the fact that we were released earlier so that we won't tire ourselves out due to the sudden starting of lessons, allowing us to slowly adapt and prepare for the coming war.

P.E. was good today. Played the game I dislike (present tense), floorball, scored one goal unintentionally, but didn't score the second time when I tried to (could have scored if the stupid ball went the direction I intended it to go.) Mr. Seet's live commentary on the game was funny, made the game much more enjoyable since he was obviously cheering for our team 'liverpool'. Haha.

It's such tiny little unexpected happiness that keeps me going nowadays; with homework starting to pile on us, I really do hope I can continue to keep my spirits up.

Watching the Korean drama Secret garden now, it's nice because I can really relate to both love stories in the show. I've learnt many life lessons since I'm viewing it from the outside. Love thinking about such stuff, it makes my boring life more interesting.

One of the resolution I made this year was to procrastinate less and be more organized. I'm a person who likes to push tasks on hand away, for example after drinking water, I will leave the cup in the kitchen and think "oh I'll wash it later." This also applies to my schoolwork. I'm J2 now and I think it's about time I start changing myself for the better, mummy is right.

As for being organized, I think this would be a really hard resolution for me to keep--I've been a seriously messy person since young. But I'll try.

I have been thinking about how I should go about blogging this Taiwan. I have decided to this old boring way of a day a post so that I can be more systematic in my thoughts. And since my memory is kinda bad, blogging a day at a time can really help me to recall details of this trip! ^^

5. Baseball jacket that has grey sleeves
(Fortunately, it was the trend in Taiwan so I had no trouble finding, but it was hard to find a cheap and nice one. I got this for about $12 i think? Its not that thick so I can wear it in Singapore.)

6. Red bowler
(I have no idea why it is just so hard to FIND a bowler hat in Singapore. Have been looking for a red bowler hat for ages. Got this at some roadside stall in Taiwan for $13--not cheap for a hat but I was a little desperate.)

7. Nude mesh skirt
(Really girly thing but I thought it was nice but had no idea where to get it. Saw it in bonitochico after I bought mine from a flea though.)

8. Raglan Shirt with 3/4 black sleeves + grey base
(When I told my mum I was looking for that she told me that I was too specific--I always am--and that I shouldn’t make life difficult for myself. Hahaha, but my dearest Sherri found it at peninsula plaza one day and asked me if I wanted!)

What’s the point of a countdown?

Its when you look forward to something and you can’t wait for the moment that it happens.

Then why should I countdown to 2011 when I know it will be a year of intense mugging and lots of heartache and even more sleepless nights?

Today is just a normal day to me, honestly I didn’t even realise its the last day of the year if not for all the tweets and facebook statuses. And even this post is kind of pointless, well I guess this is just a filler post. Oh wait! My ~~mum’s~~ lumix camera had a new makeover for the new year though!

I really want to paint a set of Christmas themed nails before I leave for Taiwan! But I can’t bear to remove the french manicure I paid for. If I could choose one nail design that I must live with for the rest of my life, it will be the plain and simple French manicure!

Side note: Its ironic how much I love to beautify my fingernails, yet I constantly peel my nails making them so freaking ugly. Urghh peeling nails is definitely my worst everrrr habit. Next is shaking leg. Haha! But I wonder why I don’t even intend to change these habits….. hmmm.

Its weird how I was never close to this class since I was sort of a late-comer (I got third in the second best class in primary 5 and got promoted to the best class only in P6) yet now this is the only ex-class that I really miss now (other than V14!).

I’ve never once missed 5H nor Anzio. Hahaha that’s why I think class gatherings are so important! I’m so used to having 6I class outings that now once holiday begins, I will start to wonder when our next 6I gathering will be. Now that one just ended, I can’t wait for the next!!!

The reason why certain group outings never stop is because there are people who really bothers to organise them and contact everyone, and there are people who are willing to come, and of course these people are most often really fun to hang out with that the next outing will be once again planned. That is how I describe this bunch of 6I mates. Really fun to joke and talk around. And super sporty too! That was why I wore shorts instead of a dress because I know there is always a possibility that we will end up playing ball games or riding bikes. hahahaha.

I will be blogging more about the things we did when pictures are up on facebook. I forgot to bring the memory card so my camera only allowed 10 photos –..-

I really wish this 22nd meetup will not be the last and that there will be more awesome gatherings to come!! It will be so cool if we continue gathering when we’re married and working right? (; haha! I hope that this day will arrive and when it does I will open up this post and show everyone “SEE?! ITS BECAUSE I WISHED FOR THIS TO HAPPEN 10 YEARS AGO!!!” Nah, kidding. As this is my 1234532345 times (not so many la actually, just uncountable due to my STM) on cruise, I shall make this post a short one! I’ll just talk about the few highlights of my trip.

Firstly: We found about 10 arcade tokens in total woohoo! A new record I think. I personally found 7. Damn proud of my eyes.

Secondly: Estee purposely booked the same trip as me. Cruise is all about the company. If you come with fun people your trip will be awesome. Of course its better if you go with experienced people then it will be better. I don’t know how to explain but there are a lot of things you will lose out on if you are new and just go alone. haha. That’s just….cruise. Thanks to her my cruise wasn’t that boring <3 <3

Thirdly: Met my primary school mate Clarence in the arcade on the first day. As he was a loner he joined us which means we have 4 bridge players now woohoo!

Fourthly: I was quite sick as I caught a flu on the first day just when I board the ship. I drank some champagne too maybe it worsened it or something hahahaha I don’t know. But the permanent air-con condition really contributed to my now horrible flu + sorethroat + cough. I had cramps on the last day too urgh horrible body.

Fifthly: I went manicure in Thailand with ESTAYE CHU AH!!! And she got touched by the Thai transvestite. She/He was quite pretty actually! But extremely fierce. Estee said that she/he was really gentle when she/he massaged her limbs. Her/his manicure skills was obviously better than the normal girl painting for me.

Sixthly: The sleepless nights we had I diggggg! It makes me feel that its so fun that we have to sacrifice some sleep in order to play more (but in actual fact i swore they were all damn tired but just kept quiet to be polite to the rest of us who are more awake) Second night we tried singing karaoke and then talked random shit at the buffet table until 3am. Third day we bridged at a really sleep-inducing and comfortable lounge from 11pm (?) until 5am I think. Went back to the cabin and washed up and it was already 6am. Thank god I didn’t need to wake up early on the last day thank god!

Seventhly: I kept sneaking in casino this year to get their ice honey lemon. ^^ Yummy. never once got checked. Does this mean I look really old ): boohoohoo but who cares I can go in casino now yay! Clarence look super old too he is 188m so the guard judges the age by the height. So that’s why we sneak in so easily. Jolene finally got her gambling membership so cool. I will get that next yeah muahahaha :D

Eighthly: I went with the nautical theme in my dressing to match cruise. I tried okay!!! here are some pictures:

Going on a cruise reminds me of some high-class thing, so I wore a maxi (gown-looking) dress during the gala dinner.

And this is how I curled my hair during holidays. Tied it into a bun and then blow dryed it. Something like xiaxue’s method! Oh Oh! even the pyjamus I wore has some nautical element in it. it was my dunman high orientation tee where the theme was voyage so there was a boat on the shirt!

Day 4:

honestly i ran out of sailor-looking clothes so i just have to make do with what i have. wore the top i wore on the second day night and the military high waisted shorts i wore on day one. i do try to pack light too okay!

And this is a jumpshot to show how happy we are--its the last day and we will get to use the internet in a few hours time!!! :D

My sandals that I matched with everything I wore throughout cruise! didn’t even need to change as it could even go with my maxi. Had to last minute mend it before my trip because initially the elastic was torn.

The next cruise may not be next year. Kinda tired and sick of it already! Unless there will be friends going with me again then I may consider hurray I can finally sleep GOODNIGHT and I hope you enjoy this post. ^^

Blogging debt day 4: Celebrating minlin’s birthday

I know that this post was supposed to be up yesterday but I was really busy as I was rushing the first 3 posts, discussing the activities to plan for some visit to a hospice and also doing a really last minute packing for my cruise trip all in one night. Some procrastinator I am huh. So anyway, somehow this post that I actually blogged halfway was not saved (TO MY HORROR) so I need to re-blog all over again.

Since its a post on my dearest Minlin’s birthday, I think it deserves my most effort so I promise this post wont be a slipshod one(:

As continued from the post below, (in case you need some recap: I went for Karaoke with Rifle seniors and dinnered with Jingles), after dinner I took a train and bus down to Universal Studios Singapore to meet Minlin Una and Desiree there.

Una and Desiree were super cute while planning for min’s birthday and I can really see darn loads of effort put in order to spend a memorable day with her. I was quite touched even though its not even for me hahaha. Their plan was for them to meet minlin at Vivocity for dinner and making her a Hershey’s chocoloate syrup with their faces on it for her present. Minlin likes to bake so apparently she told them she wanted that for her birthday present previously.

This is a sticker they will print for you so you can replace the sticker on the Hershey’s bottle.

After making the present for min and having their dinner, the surprise was to bring minlin to Universal Studios Singapore for the fireworks. But their plan failed a little because it turns out that minlin found out that they were trying to bring her there and led the way there instead. Hahaha.

I went there an hour after they reached because I was kinda lost PLUS I did not check how to go there before hand. Totally relied on signs and asking random people for directions.

I was kinda tired before I even reached USS I even slept on the bus and woke up with a rude shock as the bus was already half empty and many people where still trying to alight. I figured out it was the place to alight although the building says “CASINO” and not “UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE”

Finally found my way there and was terribly relieved--I have too many bad experiences when it comes to finding directions alone. D:

The thing was, Minlin didn’t know I was celebrating with her too and so I was the second part of her surprise! HURRAY:D:D I’m glad I’m good enough to be counted as a “SURPRISE” hehe. Apparently everytime I called Desiree she had to pretend she needs to go somewhere in order to answer my calls.

After that, we went to eat at this pizza place in USS which was packed with people. Apparently it was supposed to be famous and serves good food. I’m not a pizza kind of person so I didn’t bother to try it. The rodeo wings were awesome though ^^

I woke up damn early yesterday morning to complete my unfinished Math tuition homework. I did half of it in like 10 minutes because I overslept but at least the workbook wasn’t empty hahaha. Then I rushed out at 9.30 for math tuition.

After lunch, I went to meet my rifle seniors because they wanted a JTS but in the end only 2 juniors went so the JTS failed. We went to Karaoke and it was fun! Though Teoheng was really much better.

Blogging Debt day 1: Harry Potter date

HHello guys. After a short hiatus I’m back to blogging again. I’m glad I finally got some alone time(=blogging time) today (I refused to go out shopping with mum or study with friend) because I am so tired from yesterday’s happening-ness. I’m going to blog about yesterday soon. But first, let me clear this one which happened way before the flea post below. (I totally forgot blogging about this!)

On a side note: This is my plan. Since i’m going on a holiday this sunday, i shall be a good girl and time all the posts that I will be blogging today such you all have a new post to read everyday (for 4 days) . Hurray:D

So yes, if you follow me on twitter I think I’ve talked so much about this you would have known already la. But anyway, we were sponsored 5 tickets to Harry Potter 7 movie (but we were actually unsure if we were supposed to pay $10 as it was a charity event but we went in the end and it turned out to be free because some nice guy decided to donate lots of money and sponsor us the tickets to watch!) It was a pleasant surprise really, although I was already suspecting that it was going to be free but was persuaded by minlin that it wasn’t.

Enough of the free-tickets-or-not nonsense, I actually also won 2 free Rapunzel Premiere Movie tickets showing AT THE SAME TIME!!!!! FML (BANGS HEAD ON WALL).

In the end of course I chose HP7 since it was our original plan.

But if you forgot, this was the post that won me the Rapunzel tickets :D (to view click on the picture)

BUT ALL WAS WORTH IT! Harry potter was so super awesome I don’t mind re-watching it again! Its so far my second favourite HP movie. First was Prisoner of Azkaban. I heard Rapunzel was awesome too but I have not watched it):

As some of you might know, I had a flea stall last Saturday and it was like a war for me. It will remain an extremely memorable experience for me. But not a good one though. Now I understand the pain of all the stall owners. Hot, tired, its really very sad how we put in so much effort digging out all the clothes, pricing them, and the worst part: LUGGING THEM HERE. And there the buyers are, slashing the prices as if the clothes are junk): They are all so precious to me lor. Was extremely sad by the time everyone cut all the prices by half.

Its a horrible experience la. So I don’t really wanna elaborate much. I do not have any nice photos to show, was busy fighting the battle. And I came back with $217 although only $79 belonged to me, $60 went to me sis and the rest are my blogshop clothes. Its not alot of money lor! I have to give away all my clothes I’m so sad!

So after that day, I realised I have emotional attachment to most of my clothes….afterall I was once in love with them. hahaha. I came home at 12am tired and sweaty and in pain. Stand whole day talk so much back ache mouth pain!!!

I finally managed to go Haji lane! I didn’t even know where it was or how to even make my way there previously. This time my dear Zhihua brought me there for their flea. Or else I would have been the only noob who haven’t been there all my life. Funny how a friend commented that I dress like I love Haji lane--she called me a “Haji lane girl”. I have not decided if that is good or bad, I don’t really know what that means! Hahaha.

It was bloody crowded and hot by the way. Having a rubber band would have really helped. Thank god I was wearing sleeveless or else I would have been in a bad-temper because I realised that whenever I am deprived of my air-con and sweating a lot I become very irritable. (Learnt that of myself after the LT5 AIRCON SPOIL INCICIDENT).

Necklace from accessorize Nat got me from london! I’m not a necklace kind of girl but I like this quite alot! And my dress is mum’s from dorithy perkins. Had to safety pin it because its size L. Super huge. Argh cannot see properly in the pictures. Next time I shall demand full length pictures! Promise(;

The pictures are super clear once again! Zhihua’s canon cam (G11?) is super awesome! Clearer than my S95 which I intend to buy for the Taiwan trip. Damn jealous! Best part is it has a rotating camera so you can see yourself when you are taking pictures! That is every camwhore’s dream come true. (Not that I am one! ~self-denial~ )These are taken when we went to queue for our KOI after shopping!<3

On to my hauls! I bought a crop top, a tulle skirt and some accessories. A quite-okay flea in general. I became quite uninterested in clothes recently because I have seen too much of them, damn sian already, besides I am going to save more in Singapore and buy more in Taiwan!

Crop Top which is damn bloody cheap but has weird tomato prints. Don’t tell me its ugly/weird, I KNOW, but I’m still gonna WERK IT. Hahahaha:D

Finally got the tulle skirt in the colour I want super happy! Just that its longer than what I expected so I may slowly cut it to my ideal length! My family kept laughing at the skirt. Just because you don’t see people wear it does not mean its not nice. I want to act like I’m a ballerina cannot ah? Haha. I will find out how I can wear this out soon. hehe, let’s see who is the unfortunate friend who I should go out with wearing this!

Rings! absolutely love them but sister wanted one so I gave her the rainbow. Which do you think is the nicest? (IMO: 1. Carriage 2. Ribbon 3. Rainbow)

So this time i focused more on looking for accessories. I love rings too much. Have started liking rings since a long time ago, but this 2 years I have been buying and looking at SO MANY pictures of rings, I think I’m obsessed. My mum likes to say that I don’t have enough fingers to wear all the rings I buy so much for what. I even thought about my future wedding ring! NOT GOING TO GET MARRIED WITH A PLAIN OLD LAME DIAMOND RING OKAY! (unless its like 3 carats then I’ll still accept even if the design is boring, hahaha.)

My proposal ring and marriage ring should be different. I want a WOW kind of proposal ring. Preferably a more valuable stone than diamond. Ruby should be ideal. And it should look something like this: Imagine the pearl to be a ruby.

Met my OG girls for dinner last tuesday. We wanted to go to Minds Cafe but it was closed for renovations):

But it was still fun, we gossiped and catched up alot. We didn’t have the chance to talk much during the last outing so I’m glad we really got to talk this time. We started playing truth or dare, a game that I hate. I hate I have never too. Urggh stupid games, can’t you people see that its so easy to lie? I don’t see the point of the game since you cannot guarantee that everyone will speak the truth. But I have never lied when I play these games. Not yet. Hahaha. Well I think this game is unfair so I dislike it. Some people have more interesting lives and they may want to keep it a secret cannot meh. And its usually those people who are very eager to share about their secrets or people who have nothing to hide who always suggest to play. Hahaha, I still play, but I don’t really fancy these games nowadays.

Luckily the game lasted for only a while, my dare to prank call my friend turned into real prank callings. One of the prank call was for Shereen to call Zheyuan to say “NI YAO JI WO DE NUI NAI MA?” which literally means “do you wanna squeeze my milk?” She is so daring. haha, that is something I will never dare to do. We burst out laughing when she said that and it sort of failed because when we asked him what he heard later on he said something else (I can’t remember what but it was funny though!)

Why is she so cute. Yonghwa is super goofy omg. I like Seohyun much more because she is really unpredictable!

Gahhhh, I really want to believe that at least 90% of We Got Married is not staged! ): It would really suck if you realised that all of the presents they gave one another were not prepared by themselves. Or all the cute things they did were merely part of the script!

Okay, I will believe that everything is real so i can enjoy me show hehe. And I’m really quite hardcore omygosh i finished 32 episodes in 4 days:D Now I have to wait for korea to boradcast the next episode…WAITING SUCKS):

I just finished epsode 32 and Seohyun is really so cute here, no wonder I gave up my half-watched korean drama for this variety show. (I was watching Cinderella Man for Yoona btw!)

Now my favourite members of SNSD are (in this order):

Yoona (She is obviously the prettiest IMO, dances very well, is skinny and have nice limbs! I would believe if anyone told me that she didn’t have plastic surgery.)

TaeYeon (Without her SNSD’s vocals would have been pretty weak. But she will definitely go much further if she solos. She is extrememly cute and humourous so I like her!)

Seohyun (She is quite pretty, very cute in WGM! And sings the second best IMO)

Hyoyeon (Best dancer, very funny, looks unique, part of my love for her comes from pity because the management is very biased against her just because she is the least popular--they like to scan through her face in music videos even though she is singing. And they like to give her shitty hairstyles. I think she looks pretty sometimes, quite unique. And she is funny too so I like her!)

I can’t wait to see them perform HOPEFULLY on TV tomorrow since they have the M.NET awards thing that will be broadcasted 2 hours after its shown in Korea on Channel U, HURRAY!

p.s. I’m kinda ashamed for liking kpop but sigh…..too brainwashed by my PW mates who love kpop. Ohwell. I like SNSD only okay! So technically I don’t like Kpop [gives more excuses~~~].

I have been quite the procrastinator when it comes to blogging! There is really a lot of inertia for me when it comes to opening my Windows Live Writer… I mean every time even when I on my computer intending to blog, I’ll end up watching some korean drama or read blogs or just waste my time looking at tumblrs.

So stuff to blog about have been piling up quite a bit!

Quite recently we had an OG outing with my Piccolo friends, it was quite last minute to receive my friend’s text message but I still managed to make it:D

It was at Junrong’s House at Kovan, very near to Bryan’s and Natalie’s houses. Funny how I haven’t even heard about the Kovan before and yet now I know about 5 friends’ houses are all situated there.

We just slacked and watch shows like How I Met Your Mother, Borat, and Zoolander on Funshion in this super cool and cozy room!

You can see all the wires trying to connext the laptop’s screen to the TV. I should really get the wires too! Its quite cool to watch all the movies I downloaded on the BIG television screen instead on my laptop screen! ):

Other than watching lots of shows, we slacked around alot! Like this:

Me trying to learn Monopoly deal. Still haven’t tried after watching 2 games! But I don’t really like it leh! Seems like mahjong to me haha. Looking at them play monopoly deal just makes me miss bridge even more! But Junrong’s manor doesn’t have poker cards I cannot believe this.

Junrong’s brother Junjie! Super cute as in his character and everything. Love it when he asks junrong “ KORKOR! CAN YOU HELP ME KILL THE COCKROACH?????” in his innocent voice and tone. Later we found out the cockroach was referring to the character in a Playstation game. haha SO CUTE:D

Yay okay end of part one! I had fun and I didn’t drink even though they did! So scary to see their faces turn red.

There’s a reason why I didn’t combine this post with the previous “style your hair” competition post! because…… …..my hair wasn’t curled when I went out for the dinner! HAHAHA. I actually couldn't curl my hair in time! I actually went home to curl after dinner to take the pictures. Omg yes-.-

Anyway this is my favourite belt currently--love how vintage-y it looks and doesn’t look like its from bugis/fareast/blogshop! (I hope!!) MUM’S SUPER OLD BELT, oh yes, which reminds me how much I love it when my mum digs out all her old clothes for me! <3

Today is my mum’s birthday! Gosh I think I really put in alot of effort into it this year! Shopped until 10 yersterday for her present because i really couldn’t find anything suitable for her (she finds so many things lame and if i overspend I will get scolded if she found out how much I spent on it) It was really hard. Just ask Jingles. She was made to run around the shopping mall with me I feel so bad! Thanks dear!

After school today I went for lunch with Sherri dear and borrowed her place to complete my card! Will upload a picture of it soon! And then after that i had to go to Tampines to get my mum’s birthday cake. By the time I was home it was 5 and I have yet to write finish the note in the card so I took about 10 minutes to do that before I gave mummykins her present and card! I bought her a ‘LOVE’ accessorize ring and some mask for her to try. Its quite lame but if she knew how much time I spent finding her present she will be touch lor! HAHA.

Okay I need to submit this post before 12 midnight I need to submit this for a competition! please let me win the TICKETS:D

Anyway I just came back from mummy’s borthday dinner we went to a Japanese restaurant at Goodwoodpark hotel omgomgomg Super duper YUMMY but my set meal alone cost 82 bucks. Imagine my whole family eating a set meal each. Crazyily expensive. Daddy’s brilliant idea-.- And then still keep saying its okay just order just order and my mum keep saying its worth it, wl make me feel like I’m the most giam siap in the family!

And so…dinner EQUALS TO dress up hehe my favourite!

Anyway, since there was a chance to doll myself up, I decided to join this competition called “bring your hair to life!” I just need to take a picture of my hair so here is a picture of it ! I don’t normally care much about my hair so its really quite rare that I bother plaiting and curling my hair today! This is my most common ‘done-up’ hairstyle. Its super easy and fast.

Enough talk! (If not for the free movie tickets I won’t do this hahahaha!) But here is it:

Don’t laugh! The ball balls are spongey so you can sleep on it! Anyway this curling technique is a failure because my rebonded ends are too stubborn to be curled without heat so the following curls you see are achieved with a heat curler!

AFTER

Oh dear my hair colouring is bad. I see streaks of green. Anyway the ribbon is actually a craft ribbon supposed to be on my mum’s birthday card.

My Mum is so super awesome. She knew I was very troubled over my ambition so she helped me and came up with something I could do and I am a happy kid now! Nothing beats having a direction in life! At least I know I wont just end up a manicurist if i cannot make it into Dentistry. Haha!

This problem came up when I realised I may not be able to get into the dentistry attachment since COMPETITION is so strong. So now I’m going to keep my new backup dream a secret. It got to do with being a teacher, which has always been my backup plan but this interests me more! My mum knows me so well! And being in IP helps a bit too! Try guessing(: Yay I sound super excited I know.

And some friends have told me that i should get into the fashion industry but I know I am so not cut out for it. I may have hope being a seamstress but NOT a fashion designer, (not that interested also)! But I don’t mind working in a magazine publisher. I would consider if I had a better grasp of the English language, haha. I am really considering interning for Seventeen Magazine though, I think i would be a good intern, I want to experience what I see in The Devil Wears Prada!

Today jingles came my house (OKAY WAIT I JUST CAME UP WITH A BUSINESS PROPOSAL I NEED TO TELL HER ABOUT IT NOW) and we did the website for our client (hehe, sounds so professional.) But I was being super distracting--tried to teach Jingles all the members of SNSD I swear they are hard to differentiate! Even I get confused sometimes. Yoona is so pretty.

I might do on a SNSD post if I’m still crazy over them in the next few days! I guess I would be:D

The feeling when you get something off your chest: (Y)

But the feeling of aimlessness, boredom, just having no motivation to work hard: (N)

So I still have not reached a decision as to whether I want my pw to end or not.
But it already ended la, why am I still harping on it?

Now that I'm very free (not counting all the blogshop website tuition work I have to do!) my mind runs extremely wild and I'm starting to dig out the old stories of my life to reminiscent and analyze. Stupid active mind of mine):

Went to the airport for lunch with family today. What do you think I will think about? Hahaha but I like my forgetfulness can't remember much anyway. Oh oh and my family is talking about eating chendol for dessert later. Except that it's durian chendol hahahaha :p

I hope nobody reads this.

I can't wait to go to Taiwan! But the fact that I have to go airport again, sigh, not that excited anymore.

Today I utterly disgraced myself. shall not elaborate how but I'm still quite proud of myself nonetheless!

Sushi buffeted with PW group and mrs koh! I love Mrs koh I am blessed to have nice CTs in my VJ life I must say.

Mrs koh taught me a very useful method of counting to ten when you are in anger. You never know, the words that comes out of your mouth might be extremely hurtful even though you don't mean it.

Do you feel aimless and disorientated without PW? I do!

Okay I will keep my daily ramblings short today.
Symposium tomorrow my batch of IP has the worst of luck.
